Plymouth, Wisconsin based artist, Erin Kaczkowski, started Bite Size Studio after several years hiatus from making art in order to focus on her family. Erin has a AAS degree from MCTC in Minneapolis for Photography and a BFA in Print and Narrative Forms, from Peck School of the Arts at UW-Milwaukee.Bite Size Studio was started as a means of Erin rediscovering herself after navigating through tragic losses and through the newly acquired titles of Wife and Mother. Throughout Erin's work there are themes of changing identity, duality of emotions, and regrowth from change/tragedy. Erin work is mainly relief prints and collage, however, other mediums tend to show up from time to time as well.The name Bite Size Studio was developed as a reminder that you don't arrive at the big goals by biting off more than you can chew but rather performing bite size tasks that chomp away at the larger goal. Erin has many larger goals for Bite Size Studio that will aim to be an inclusive space for community members and artists to explore different mediums, learn new skills, and build a community focused on growth and wellness through art.
