Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked in every aspect of the restaurant industry in roles ranging from server to pastry chef to managerial roles. My experience ranges from small Brooklyn cafes to corporate events and fine dining establishments. I’ve sought out every learning opportunity that I can to make myself into a versatile culinary professional, including traveling to Indonesia and China to study the language and cuisines of those cultures, learning Danny Meyer’s hospitality and food/wine curriculum as a server at Union Square Cafe, and training under the Executive Pastry Chef at the Modern, MOMA’s Michelin 2-star restaurant.I’m a person who intuitively has the ability to read people’s body language and know what they need. I also have the ability to precisely plan and organize every aspect of a menu or a catering event, and can unite a team at all levels from the busboys to the General Manager.
