Management of research program data coordinators within a very seasoned research program of 5 Austin research locations, 60+ physician practice adhering to all federal, state and local guidelines.  Provide leadership and oversight of all data coordinator staff (3 FTEs) inclusive of hiring/training and creating/modifying all educational materials.  Quality assurance/improvement: auditing and reporting of data management progress for stable of 80+ oncology treatment trials to ensure timely data entry that meets contractual obligations; review of data quality via CRA letters/discussions to assure efficient data submission while minimizing data queries.  Data submissions for the past 5 years maintained within 5-day entry 90% of the time which assured constant stream of revenue for the program.  Created new documentation system of Adverse Events collection forms tailored to each specific eDC which is now utilized within the US Oncology network nationally.  Created/implemented new policies to assist in the tracking of patients in survival follow-up and in the maintenance of lab kit inventory.  Work in tandem with Clinical Research Coordinators to assure study procedures/visits are in accordance with protocol; AEs are properly documented and SAEs are submitted timely with all required documentation.  Coordinate with data coordinator staff the ordering of all pathology samples, lab kits and processing of research samples before shipment to sponsor and/or vendor.

Data entry for seasoned oncology research program. Capture and input research data into sponsor eDC systems such as Inform, Medidata, Rave and Oracle.  Assist Clinical Research Coordinators in patient’s care and safety monitoring; confirm research procedures for each visit; order pathology as needed; processing of research specimens; specimen shipment.  Maintenance of data entry timeliness and quality; query resolution. Quality improvement to assist in overall program efficiency.  Work in tandem with CRAs to assure quality of data entry submissions.  Submissions of imaging diagnostics to sponsor/and or contracted vendor.  Secondary check of CRCs to review that all study procedures were completed per protocol.
