About Erin Laprad, Mba, Capm

I am an operations management professional, certified project manager and MBA whose various roles and responsibilities over 20+ years, particularly within the field of education administration, have enabled me to hone my management, strategic leadership, and problem-solving skills. I am also a mother, patent holder, guitarist/singer in an acoustic rock band, black belt in Okinawan Goju-Ryu karate, and Hydrow rowing aficionado. I currently manage a dynamic team and educational program that is charged with preparing young adults with special abilities to live independently, inclusive of providing them with the vocational skills needed to maintain long-term, paid employment that is in line with each individual's future goals. As Director of The Bridging Over to Right Opportunities (BORO) Program I wear many hats, with responsibilities that include: strategic, operational, administrative and budget management, student internship and post-22 job site development and coordination, community and donor relations, financial and strategic oversight of the BORO Sugar Shack candy store, publicity and marketing strategies, graphic design and video production, data collection and analysis, staff training, interpersonal management and conflict resolution, general leadership, and team building. I am also certified in Safety Care Behavioral Safety Training and have served as a member of the district’s DEIJ Committee.
