➢ Key Duties: In this position, I managed the daily operations and performance of 14 staff members at a Class A residential building with 448 apartments. I partnered with maintenance staff, residents, procurement, upper management and other outside vendors to maintain properties to the highest standard (inspections, preventative maintenance, contractors, bids, administration, etc). Progressively grew my career at MAA over a 19-year period. I started as a leasing consultant then was promoted to Assistant Property Manager. I was quickly promoted to Property Manager in 2002 and stayed in that role until 2018. ➢ Key Duties: I started off at MAA as a Leasing Consultant where I interacted with prospective residents and led marketing efforts to secure leases. When I was promoted to Assistant Property Manager, I led the collections and leasing process in addition to conducting property inspections. I also served as the team manager in the Property Manager's absence.
