With over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, strategy, and change management, I have a track record of success in leading and supporting high-performing teams, establishing and sustaining relationships, and guiding team transitions.My mission is to improve care and well-being for companion animals, animals used in research, farm animals, wildlife and animals in other environments. I also share tips on plant-based foods, animal caregiving, and safe travel for pets on my blog and social media platforms, and am passionate about preventing animal cruelty. I'm also focused on elevating animal and human life through sustainable practices in food & farming, sustainable living, and animal advocacy. I value diversity of thought & lead with compassion & sensitivity. I advocate for lawful approaches to the ethical treatment of animals. Through my work, I elevate animals in society and people with disabilities.In cases where animal welfare has been compromised, how do we address the issues, increase awareness and understanding, and mitigate problems moving forward? These are questions I work to address in a variety of animal welfare settings.I value animal welfare and well-being; human health and well-being; authenticity, integrity, and ethical decision-making; diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging; continuous learning and improvement; and work-life harmony.I hold an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MSc in International Animal Welfare, Ethics, and Law from the University of Edinburgh, and a BBA from the University of Michigan.C+B®’s name was inspired by my goal of combining compassionate areas of focus with beneficial change management and by the initials of two special needs adopted animals.In addition to advocating for animal welfare, plant-based foods, and animal adoption, I advocate for the inclusion of the Disability community (I have anxiety), Neurodiverse community (I have OCD), the LGBTQIA+ community (I’m 🩷💜💙, and underrepresented minorities.
