I have spent the majority of my career as a housing rights lawyer and currently focus on affirmative litigation and housing policy. In my current job, I advocate for better laws and policies to prevent displacement, including the Community Opportunity to Purchase Act in San Jose, California. I also litigate cases on behalf of tenants and unhoused populations to protect their rights. This includes current litigation against the City of Mountain View to prevent enforcement of an RV Ban which effectively criminalizes homelessness. I have also represented hundreds of people and families facing eviction in both New York City, and California.
