Traveled to India for the month of January 2020 and a week in November 2023 to participate in an outreach program co-sponsored by the U.S. State Department and Middlebury College. The project targets adolescent girls at risk of human trafficking and emphasizes the importance of education, leadership, nutrition, and female empowerment. Teamed with 12 other Middlebury field hockey coaches and players to coach and mentor 106 14-17-year-old girls. Taught English, math, and environmental science to first grade students at a local elementary school, organized a sports day for the students, and held an English workshop for their parents.
