I am an animal bioscience researcher with over five years of research experience and a passion for animal health, conservation, and welfare. I have gained extensive experience in several fields of study surrounding vertebrate physiology in both terrestrial and aquatic systems. While my most recent work has focused on the development of musculoskeletal traits and proximate composition in agricultural poultry species, I have spent considerable time working on the health and conservation of freshwater fishes using a combination of novel lethal and non-lethal sampling methodologies. I aim to apply my diverse knowledge, skills, and experience to tackling multidisciplinary challenges affecting animal and ecosystem health.
