I have been working at Publix for over 17 years now. It has been an amazing company to learn my customer service skills and how to focus on not only our product, but, more importantly, keeping our customers the utmost importance! I started my career in the Customer Service Dept., and then transferred over to our Bakery Dept. for an opportunity to grow in my career at a faster rate. I excel in customer service knowledge, listening and empathizing to take care of needs. I am very disciplined and am excellent in multitasking. I have given many performance evaluations, complete scheduling, and perform many administrative tasks, such as payroll on a daily basis. For 10 years, I was the United Way Coordinator, and I would set up and conduct meetings amongst our associates each year. I have also been responsible for training and developing new associates over my career. I also have accounting skills and knowledge in counting and handling large amounts of money during my 14 years in Customer Service.
