I have 18 years experience in the not for profit sector. I am currently the Director of Program at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County. BBBSBC matches up area youth with potential but less than ideal circumstances with a volunteer that can help them expand their horizon and reach their potential. Much of my career has been family and youth focused. I have worked with at-risk youth, adults and children with developmental disabilities and youth on the Autism Spectrum. I have been a front line worker, as well as in leadership roles. In addition to my BA in Sociology with a concentration in social work and minor in Psychology, I completed an 11 month credentialing course for a Family Development Specialist through Cornell University. Although I enjoy working on behalf of at risk youth reaching their full potential, I am open to opportunities where I would work on behalf of an art program, historical site, or museum. In addition, I am the owner/artist of an Art Gallery featuring fine and functional art. Is it a gallery? Is it a gift store? It is SCRAMBLED! Gallery of Gifts. Scrambled! represents the art of about 20 artists who have varied backgrounds and professions, but have a desire, skill and passion to create art! We are located at 39 W. Bridge St. New Hope, PA along the canal. My particular art is created with out the use of paint brushes. I use felt, fingers, cotton balls, swabs, compressed air, credit cards, dental tools, etc...
