About Erin Stokes, Ed.D.

Hi! I am a wife and a mother of two, and I recently finished my doctorate at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I currently serve as the principal of Pineville Elementary School. Previously, I was a Title I Coordinator for the Rapides Parish School System, where I coached and supported both principals and teachers in Title I Schools. Before that, I was an instructional coach at a local middle school, and I taught 7th and 8th graders for nine years--both regular education and special education. I am passionate about educational reform, both on state and national levels. I also serve as the worship leader at the church that my husband pastors, and I hope to reflect Christ as I serve in various leadership positions.
