NeuroBehavioral Systems (NBS) aims to provide researchers with precise and powerful software tools to create innovative behavioral and physiological experiments. One of these tools is the California Cognitive Assessment Battery (CCAB), a series of remotely administered computerized neuropsychological cognitive assessments. It's meant to quantify normal age-related changes in performance to enable the earlier detection of potentially pathological changes, which could decrease the cost, improve the sensitivity, and facilitate access to these increasingly vital tests. My primary responsibility as an RA is reviewing the transcriptional data generated by Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) from the CCAB, ensuring the quality of the data, and improving the ASR pipeline.

I assist a team of researchers in building a study on set and setting in psilocybin-assisted therapy.

The CSSA is an undergraduate organization at Cal that aims to enrich the academic life of those pursuing Cognitive Science. As the Professional Events Director, I coordinate academic events such as guest lectures, information sessions, and workshops related to cognitive science. Additionally, I lead a team that helps orchestrate the annual CSSA Conference which averages hundreds of attendees eager to learn about our wonderful brain!

I assist a Ph.D. Candidate in a project surrounding the biological mechanisms of disordered behavior, specifically in ASD. My main responsibility is maintaining a mouse colony, which includes clipping tails, lysing tails via pipetting, weaning, and euthanasia when necessary.

I assisted in running fMRI experiments to scan Inferior Temporal (IT) Cortex of awake Macaques, trained macaques to perform visual fixation tasks under various visual stimuli sets, assisted in macaque implant surgeries and durascrapes, and maintained lab supplies and organization (cleaning, inspection prep, medication restock, etc.)

The OHC is an organization at Cal that has conducted thousands of interviews on a wide variety of topics, and makes them available online. As an administrative assistant, I mainly upload and organize hundreds of interviews into databases, in addition to other tasks that help preserve these pieces of history. I’ve built up my teamwork skills, as I coordinate with other administrative assistants to keep the OHC running smoothly. I’ve become fluent in programs like Google Sheets, DV Rescue, Encoder, and more.

At Simply Neuroscience, I’m a Co-Director of the Brain Resource Creation, which is an initiative that aims to create educational content to help middle, high school, and college students learn about the brain! I’m also on the Presynaptic Project team, and we just launched a 6 month course for young students who are eager to learn some neuroscience. I’m lastly apart of the Writing and Editing team, and the work done by writers focus on topics of neuroscience, psychology, and STEM.

The Helyx Initiative is a youth-led organization that strives to bring fellow youth STEM resources through running activities such as panels, tutoring, blogging, hackathons, and much more. As a chapter co-president, I head our chapter's blogging team (which includes editing and writing blogs as well), I help organize panels with STEM clinicians and experts, and help progress our chapter, which is one of largest at Helyx, with over 100 members and counting!

Human Rights Watch is a non-governmental organization that investigates and reports abuses happening in all corners of the world, battling to hold abusers accountable and to bring justice to victims.

In high school, I've taken AP World History, AP Biology, AP Lang, along with many honors classes.

I collaborate with an Assistant Ph.D Professor at Chapman University in the CRANIAL Lab. I interpret and input data collected from Primary Progressive Aphasia research participants into a large database to investigate effective treatments for those with PPA. I deepen my understanding of aphasia and neuroscience as a whole.

As a group of young neuroscience enthusiasts, NoticeNeuro is a youth organization that seeks to bring quality education to fellow youth through the world of neuroscience in order to help them discover their passions and tackle real-world issues.

Hyphora is a youth organization that had the goal of offering students easy access to opportunities, academic resources, and valuable connections via the Hyphora app, which was in beta testing. The project eventually disbanded due to a lack of resources, but a small team and I plan on utilizing the project data to build something else. Throughout my time at Hyphora, I built up the database I was working on by 46%. Along with that, I learned several valuable lessons, including effective communication, and gained important skills, such as data collection.
