As the Director of Operations for a boutique financial advisory firm in Southern California, I oversee all aspects of the day to day office operations, including client service requests and administration, human resources, payroll, and accounting. Responsible for executing all aspects of client appreciation program including gifting, client appreciation events, and holiday communication. As the "office wordsmith", review and edit corporate communications prior to distribution. Monitor industry regulations and ensure office remains compliant.

Provided virtual, executive-level administrative services, which included word processing, dictation transcription, billable hours tracking, invoice preparation and processing, records maintenance, research, and document creation and editing. My duties also included maintenance of the master calendar and scheduling of appointments and travel. In this role I had the opportunity to research and write grant proposals for local non-profit organizations.

With this third-party benefits administration firm, I managed the day to day operations of the employee benefits plans of, on average, five corporate clients at any one time. This included providing excellent customer service by answering employee and employer benefit program questions, solving coverage and claim problems, processing all enrollments, terminations, and changes to the benefit plans, and administering employer Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Act (COBRA) programs. I was entrusted with and maintained employee confidentiality related to personal medical issues and conditions. I also reconciled all employer insurance carrier invoices and submitted the invoices to my clients for payment.
