Driven by a love for building great teams and helping founders launch thriving businesses, my journey has been anything but typical.My career took a pivotal turn when I joined RedCap as the Director of Special Projects right out of college. Initially, I was preparing for medical school, but RedCap’s mission to prevent drunk driving—a cause deeply personal after my father’s life was forever impacted by a drunk driving accident—convinced me to pursue business instead.At RedCap, I launched new markets and was deeply involved in the pivot to a white-labeled vehicle logistics solution. Here, I gained essential Product Management experience by collaborating with tech teams and bridging the gap between our end-users (dealership staff) and the product. I worked to ensure our tech was functional and user-friendly, allowing dealerships to increase service efficiency, drive sales, and even enable off-site test drives. This hands-on role in product and UX was instrumental in our growth, and I eventually took on the position of Chief People Officer, leading recruiting as RedCap scaled. RedCap was later acquired by Solera, marking a significant career milestone.After RedCap, I co-founded SilkRoll, a sustainable fashion marketplace that was featured on Shark Tank and remains successful today. As COO, I led recruitment and operations, building a team united by a mission to redefine sustainable fashion. Concurrently, I began supporting The Job Sauce, a resume and career coaching service, where I built a marketplace to support job seekers—a role I’ve held since 2014.In the consumer packaged goods space, I served as Sales Lead at Dr Hops, a natural foods brand specializing in hard kombucha. Over 3 years, we reached the top of Nielsen’s hard kombucha rankings. While Dr Hops eventually closed, this experience taught me valuable lessons on scaling responsibly and recognizing when to slow down.🔹 TodayCurrently, I’m a recruiter specializing in early-stage tech.
