Through June 2021, I co-led the team that transitioned The Broad Center’s twenty years of learning and programs to the Yale School of Management and supporting the wind down of the organization in Los Angeles. Amidst all of the change within our organization (and the world), I directed the collaboration of the transition strategy and execution across The Broad Center and Yale. I spent most of my time balancing the varied stakeholder needs, interests and inputs across our senior leadership team and the team at Yale School of Management.Additionally, I led the winddown our LA-based career support programs for our network members. I served as a career advisor to alumni in the Broad network in career transitions and with ongoing leadership development.I supervised and coached two team members who served in new and challenging roles and helped develop and execute our internal career supports for TBC staff that transitioned out of their roles throughout 2020-21

Starting in 2013, I led the recruitment and selection team for The Broad Residency, a nationwide leadership development program where graduates earn a master’s degree in education leadership. I directed a high-touch, selective, tech-enabled process that annually selected ~50 participants from a nationwide pool of 3000+ applicants from various sectors and functions. Our team continuously refined selection tools and processes to improve talent assessment and eliminate bias.As team lead and senior leader within the organization, I scoped roles, hired, and developed a five-member team and was responsible for a budget of nearly $1M. Additionally I served on our organization's inaugural diversity council and was a leadership and development advisor to annual caseload of 6-8 program participants working in multiple charter school networks and school districts.Started at Associate Director and was promoted 3x before 2018.
