• Verify insurance benefits for incoming and established patients and their network status with our facility, outside facilities, and hospitals.• Verify all demographic and guarantor information for patients. • Communicate with incoming and established patients regarding their account balances and potential balances of future procedures and visits. • Educate patients on deductible, coinsurance and collection procedure.• Call patients prior to appointments and procedures regarding their financial responsibilities.• Set up payment plans for patients as needed.• Review and assess overall financial and tax records to determine financial assistance qualifications. • Take incoming calls to answer questions regarding patient statements, EOB’s, and other billing related questions. • Assist attorneys and law offices with payments for patients. • Assist in lowering guarantor account receivables.
