Guiding the vision together with people with lived experience, we mobilize a broad community of care and support research into the disease to ensure people affected by dementia are not alone.

I oversee the operations of a a non-profit long-term care home for 130 people living with dementia. We have over 270 staff in 2 unions and about 160 participants in our day program. I liaise with government agencies who fund a number of our operations while seeking donations for our 'above and beyond' goals. We focus on creating a life worth living for those in our home and I'm driven to make us the best place to live and work! I'm very passionate about supporting our staff to give the best care and create a life of abundance, spontaneity, meaningful connections and companionship for our Elders. We are also passionate about future research opportunities and growth potential for our 5 acre 105,000 sq. ft home in Nanaimo

I am responsible for the overall operations and management of DCC's Central Island region. Programs taught there range from business programs to nursing and police foundations. I manage the facilitators as well as the student body while working towards the strategic goals of the company.

In addition to the administrative services managed previously to this position - I am responsible for the management of the cooperative education programs for both ILSC and Greystone College. This role encompasses many tasks and duties such as directly counselling students within the programs, building and maintaining a strong business network outside of the company for placement services and managing a revenue stream. These duties, along with assistance on immigration clarification and many more tasks, will be overseen by the cooperative education manager.

This role encompasses many different duties within the school. From organizing new student intakes to managing both the maintenance and security departments, the role itself can change on a daily basis with different requirements and needs.
