I was accountable for a team of 6 managers throughout Calgary, Edmonton and Saskatoon who all led teams of 10-18 staff. Working as a team to find the spaces that our culture needed to grow was key. I coached our teams to be open to communication by opening the door to talk to one another. My greatest successes during my time here were creating a positive company culture, establishing a consistent hiring process and providing support in creating a company training plan.

I began as a Recruitment Onboarder and was consistently asked to train new onboarding staff throughout the recruitment department because of my ability to present a detailed and thorough approach to training. This resulted in a promotion to Recruiter where I completed full cycle recruitment of 200+ staff within a 3-month timeline for the Conoco Phillips – Surmont 2 project successfully by staying organized and thorough in my communication

Successfully trained and encouraged a team of 12 to exceed monthly sales targets for 5 months in a row. This was accomplished by being a role model for the team. Motivating and leading by example were the key takeaways to building the business to exceed financial expectations. The role of Assistant Manager was very hands on and allowed me to work closely alongside the team to build each other up.

I began as a student Recruiter, ensuring consistent follow-up and honesty with potential students, I was able to successfully fill class size requirements for 3 consecutive start dates. My success in this position resulted in a promotion to Administrator. In my role I achieved conflict resolution between staff and students by maintaining a calm and neutral approach to each situation. The result equated to several students graduating from college.
