After graduating from Boston University with a dual degree in Theatre Arts and Sociology, I began a career in animation as an Executive Assistant to the EVP of Production and Operations at Nickelodeon Animation. I have since taken on increased responsibility and was promoted to a Coordinator of the Production and Operations Department. With a team of 20 other Theatre Arts majors at Boston University I am cultivating a theatre company with a strong mission statement based on equity, access, community, and healing. As a team we are curating a six show production season for Spring 2021. For my final thesis I am collaborating on a devised, Theatre for Young Audiences piece about sickness and healing, based on the "The Yellow Boat" by David Saar. My company role is Social Media Liaison. Within Social Media, I work with a group of 5 other people to establish and maintain our social media presence. Within this group, I assisted in launching a STAMP website, Facebook Group, Twitter Account, and Instagram. I assist in making graphics for our social media accounts, and helped edit out introduction video. Additionally, as a liaison I stay in close communication with our other company groups such as Events, Finance, and Producing. Principal Investigator
I am the Principal Investigator for a year-long sociological research project on police accountability. My main research question will identify how different components of the public (local residents, police departments, and national organizations) define police accountability and how this definition has changed over the past ten years. For this project, I am doing a historical analysis of NYT articles since 2010, a content analysis of consent decrees issued by the Department of Justice, and conducting interviews with current and retire police personnel. I will present and defend my final research in April 2021.

At Taco Bell, I always served up a hot plate of satisfaction to our customers! In this restaurant, I worked as a Service Champion, a Food Champion, a Cleaning Captain, and a Closing Captain. This role has been invaluable to me, and continues to inform who I am in the workplace. Night Shift Supervisor
Worked overnight shifts converting the arena from hockey set up to concert set ups. Duties included putting down subfloor over the ice, setting up the stage based on performers specifications, setting up pipe and drape around the concourse, and setting up locker rooms with comfortable furniture. I also worked as a spotlight operator and goal judge for BU hockey games.

In this role I would set up events with lighting, sound and media equipment and running either a sound or light board for the event. Once the event has ended, our team breaks down the equipment and returns to our facilities.

Here, I worked under the umbrella of Das Jungendamnt, or the Youth Welfare Offices in Dresden, Germany. I worked with children 14-20 years old, and gave them support through their criminal proceedings. This internship was in German.
"Big Rock"
As a "Big Rock", or a teachers assistant at William Trotter Elementary, I taught concepts of social justice to second grader students. Topics included racism, immigration, individuality, walls, environmental responsibility, family, access, and wealth. I was assigned two "Little Rocks" who I became a mentor to throughout the year. At the end of the semester, the students conducted a protest against climate change.
Master Electrician
During this school year, I was the Master Electrician for 3 theatre productions and Assistant Master Electrician for 1 production. Dolores Claiborne, The Booth Theatre- Master Electrician Horizon Line, Studio One- Master Electrician Aurora Borealis, The Dance Theatre- Master Electrician Unmentionables, Studio One- Master Electrician My role as a Master Electrician was to actualize a plot created by the lighting designer. After drafting, or editing the lighting plots in Vectorworks, I lead a team of 5-15 electricians at lighting calls to hang, cable, focus, and troubleshoot the lights. During tech week, I trained a freshman student on our lighting console, which was typically an Eos Gio, Eos Element, or a grandMA.

Electrics Intern
During this internship I assisted the lighting department with a multitude of projects such as replacing every circuit in the theatre and measuring and cutting all of the stock pipe. In addition, I assisted on their summer show The Roomate directed by Phylicia Rashad by hanging, focusing and troubleshooting lights. During my time here I also trained with Steppenwolf’s Educational Outreach program in pedological and diverse education approaches which informed my choice to add sociology as a second major!
