Supports professional practice, quality improvement and education in ultrasound for the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI), including Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Women's College Hospital.Co-manages the Ultrasound Quality Assurance Program, monitoring program compliance and addressing issues or negative trends in clinical quality. Coordinates with operational leadership, physician leadership, and other interprofessional colleagues to implement quality initiatives, standardize processes, and optimize workflow to support consistent and high-quality care across all JDMI hospitals.Engages in interprofessional and multidisciplinary committees to influence best practice, prevent workplace injury, promote academic inquiry and support clinical education. Supports professional development and education of staff, coordinating bi-monthly sonographer rounds and other education or training programs.

Performs general diagnostic ultrasound examinations in abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular and small parts imaging. Specializes in obstetrics, gynecology and neonatal ultrasound with additional expertise in diagnostic sonography for endometriosis, inflammatory bowel disease and organ transplants.
