I am a two-time New York Innovative Theater Award nominated actor, director and producer and am the Executive Artistic Director of The Seeing Place Theater - a social justice theater ensemble in New York City. As an actor, I have appeared in national tours and multiple times Off Broadway. Another way I make an impact in the world is as a leadership coach and facilitator for corporations, helping those from the C-Suite to tech to customer-facing employees. I'm especially passionate about sharing my knowledge of how emotional intelligence, emotion science, and empathy impact the workplace. I am also a progressive activist, using my voice and my work in the theater to take action in support of historically underserved communities including women, immigrants, Global Majority, LGTBQIA+, and people with disabilities/chronic illnesses. As someone currently battling stage IV/metastatic breast cancer, I am also passionate about cancer advocacy. I am a writer for Backstage magazine giving real-world advice to actors, and my performing and activist work have been featured in the New York Times, American Theatre magazine, TimeOut New York, and the Huffington Post (among other publications and podcasts.) I am actively seeking new clients to publish my work.
