• Created hundreds of GIS data layers to federal standards, including cultural resource sites and surveys, pre-historic and historic transportation routes, original U.S. Land Patent ownership, land use patterns, population density and urbanization of landscapes within the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and surrounding area.• Initiated and implemented the mapping, recording, and methodical survey of over 1,500 archaeological sites within the Santa Monica Mountains in order to improve cultural resource protection and enhance research and analysis of local historic and pre-historic cultures.• Conducted a 14-month archaeological survey of over 10,000 acres of public parklands within Los Angeles and Ventura Counties; over 150 archaeological sites were surveyed.• Directed and facilitated various types of historic research, including oral histories, genealogy studies, archival research, and site surveys of historic resources throughout Southern California.

• Responsible for sorting, classification, and organization of pre-historic and historic artifacts as necessary during Phase II and III Archaeological Investigations.• Established cartographic and database development duties efficiently in order to streamline the process of collection, organization, and analysis of archaeological surveys and investigations.
