Erin Sibley Doerwald, LCSW, CMT-P is a psychotherapist, mindfulness facilitator and workplace resiliency consultant based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. For 20 years, Erin has been a committed practitioner of mind-body practices that fundamentally shifted her perspective on living a life in balance. Having experienced profound transformation through practices that held her through grief and loss, illness, and injury, a personal mission grew to share the benefits of these practices in service to others.2022 will mark her tenth year as a clinical social worker helping youth, families, and organizations find their way to wellness in the behavioral health world. Her background includes supporting youth in coping with substance abuse related vulnerabilities and suicide prevention through family systems therapy and group counseling. In addition to her private practice, she serves as the Director of Special Projects for The Sky Center of the New Mexico Suicide Intervention Project and developed the core programming of Sky’s Toolkit for Wellbeing model. She is a proud alumnus of the Facundo Valdez School of Social Work of New Mexico Highlands University and has served as an adjunct professor for the MSW program. She has offered mindfulness and resiliency program development support for local and national organizations including Opera America, Working Wellness Yoga, Positive Energy Solar, the Santa Fe Public Schools and Biscochito Elder Care. She joined the Board of Directors of Vallecitos Mountain Retreat Center in Fall 2019 and supports VMRC’s values of cultivating inclusivity, refuge, and peace. Erin is a Certified Mindfulness Teacher - Professional, with the International Mindfulness Teachers Association and an Affiliated Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) Teacher for UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC). Erin received her training in mindfulness facilitation from UCLA Semel Institute MARC. She also serves as a mentor for students receiving training in the Intensive Practice Program at UCLA's MARC.
