I am a forest engineer with a deep-rooted passion for the outdoors, having grown up in the breathtaking landscapes of the Albanian Alps. Since childhood, I have been drawn to the mountains, honing my climbing skills and developing a keen interest in outdoor adventures. This early fascination led me to pursue studies in the field and eventually work as a specialist in park management and as an park ranger for the National Park.In 2017, my dedication and expertise were recognized when I was nominated as the best ranger in Albania, a testament to my commitment to preserving and protecting the natural beauty of my homeland. Building on my experience, I ventured into the realm of tourism, serving as a tour guide for travel agencies starting in 2016. Guiding tours through the mountains allowed me to share my love for the outdoors with others and showcase the stunning landscapes of Albania.In the past two years(since 2022), I have delved deeper into the realms of bushcraft and survival skills, constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and expertise in outdoor survival techniques. This journey culminated in the founding of Backcountry Albania, a tour operator dedicated to offering a wide range of outdoor activities in the Albanian Alps. Through Backcountry Albania, I aim to provide unforgettable experiences that allow others to connect with nature and explore the hidden gems of Albania's wilderness.
