In the Business Development and Partnerships role, I am responsible for the development and management of Globe Alliance, The Globe and Mail's advertising network of world class publishers from around the world: Wall Street Journal Digital Network, Reuters, Forbes, The Washington Post, The Guardian, ABC News, Fast Company, Inc, The Atlantic, Times of India and the Hearst Digital Media properties. I work cross functionally with internal stakeholders at every level, from ad sales to ad product, ad ops, trade marketing, legal and finance. Externally, I drive the recruitment, on boarding of new partners and manage the relationship with our publishing partners. Launch and first year management of Globe Careers, which combined job search ( provided by Eluta.ca), editorial excellence and a robust awards program. Working closely with Ad Sales and external partners, this initiative brought significant increases in UVs, PVs and incremental revenues.

Responsible for setting the visual agenda for the organization's photographic department, managing and developing a team of 17 photographers, photo editors and photo enhancers. Together we created an internationally recognized and respected visual department that supported company objectives to use visual storytelling as a way to inform our audience about the world around us, whether local, national or abroad.
