I am responsible for supporting the needs of the district, and for communicating through digital and traditional media with our USD 265 patrons in an accurate, professional and creative way.- Craft 150+ videos from start to finish - strategically planning, interviewing, filming, and editing the final products. (This includes 10 school-specific marketing videos, multiple special event re-caps, as well as informational videos for recruitment purposes, and special videos honoring our amazing staff, students, families, and community.)- Manage our district and 12 schools' Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts- Produce social media content that is relevant, engaging, and informative multiple times a week- Analyze social media data on a regular basis to develop social media ambassadors- Design all district promotional materials: mailers, brochures, flyers, posters, etc., that stay consistent with our district's brand- Manage our 13 websites as Webmaster, train staff on curating their own classroom and/or school website- Produce website information that is up-to-date for all 13 web pages- Assist with the planning for all-district events and special events such as Neighbors United, a Goddard community event where 500+ volunteers serve 40+ project sites throughout the city of Goddard- Create and send two monthly email newsletters to all USD 265 staff and parents that highlight exciting activities in Goddard and showcase our district's achievements - Support in times of crisis through website announcements, social media posts, and emails to families- Implemented a bi-weekly email newsletter that includes Social Media Tips & Tricks in order to inform teachers and staff of best practices in social media that communicate in a creative and safe way
