My main responsibility is discipleship and mentoring university students in order to "Know Christ and Make Him Known." Staff in Training is designed to prepare me and train me in my strengths and grow my weaknesses in ministry as a springboard into full time Navigator Representative status on a campus within the United States.
Edge is a two year internship program through The Navigators in which we are placed on a college campus to mentor and lead students in their walk with Christ or exploration of Christianity. Edge stands for Evangelism, Discipleship, Growth, and Experience.
Women's athletic director: organize meets (track meet, swim meet, canoe meet, and octathlon as well as competition night and opening day) disciple counselors through one on one meetings, lead Bible study for counselors, lead overnight kayak trip, oversee captains and coaches for the Romans and Galatians, oversee major activities.
I spent 2 summer's as a christian sports camp counselor. Activities ranged from coaching track, canoe, tumbling, sailing, kayak as well as refereeing soccer games, swim meets, volleyball matches, ect. I also led overnight caving and kayaking trips. Kids ages ranged from 8-18 and there were 10 in each cabin with 2 counselors present.
