With over 15 years of experience in cancer research and life sciences, I am a Scientific Senior Director and Myeloma Disease Lead at Bristol Myers Squibb, a global leader in oncology and hematology. My mission is to develop, communicate, and execute the translational disease strategy for myeloma, a type of blood cancer that affects plasma cells.As a translational medicine expert, I leverage my scientific knowledge and skills to lead reverse translational projects that are focused on analyzing patient-derived datasets. The goal of this research is to improve our understanding of myeloma biology, drivers of aggressive disease, and mechanisms of therapy resistance. I work with a cross-functional team of scientists, clinicians, and external partners to design and implement translational research plans, generate and analyze data, and communicate the results and implications to various stakeholders. I also contribute to the development and review of scientific publications. My goal is to advance the science and deliver innovative solutions that can improve the lives of patients with multiple myeloma.
