• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies.• Perform accounting analysis for cash accruals, account payables, account receivables, reconciliations and foreign exchange.• Perform month-end account closing activities.• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances.• Monthly balance sheet reporting and reconciliation of accounts.• Review financial reports to identify and explain variances.• Report monthly, quarterly, and annual information to parent company and distribute financials to various departments and management. • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.• Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits.• Responsible for completion and support of annual compilation for 3rd party review. • Back-up for fixed asset management.• Assist other departments in developing automated processes and procedures such as development of Accounts Payable Lost Discounts analysis, which will allow for further Accounts Payable metrics development. • Managed property leasing for Goodyear tenant by ensuring timeliness of invoicing, receipt of payment, and completion of the annual operating expense statement according to the lease contract. • Completed special projects as assigned by the controller.

• Direct day-to-day accounting and finance operations including all treasury functions, financial reporting, oversight and review of accounts receivables and payables for six companies.• Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financials for all six companies, including monthly presentation of operating results to management and owners. • Manage and develop a staff of five accounting professionals including one A/P clerk, one A/R clerk, and three staff accountants. Hired an Executive Assistant for the President and Vice President of the group as well as an HR Manager for the group, both new positions which I support.• Coordinate and communicate on a regular basis with a third party tax preparer including the preparation of annual reviews for three of the companies.

Assistant Controller (August 2014 – April 2016)• Assisted CFO with oversight of accounting department and production of timely and accurate financials for all Kincaid companies. • Reorganized accounting department staff creating operating efficiencies by reducing head count from 6 to 5 employees while maintaining timely and reliable financial reporting. • Redesigned sales tax reporting process for multiple states and multiple entities to be compliant with current tax laws and regulations. • Developed business recommendations for improving accounting and operating processes, as well as management procedures, after implementing new sales/accounting software for one of the Kincaid companies. Created a management process manual to streamline processes among 5 locations. Implemented reporting processes for decision makers to have timely and reliable information on demand. • Conducted yearly 1099 preparation and reporting for all six companies. Kincaid Family Accountant (October 2013 – current)• Maintain financial statements for the Kincaid family for ten LLC entities and a personal financial statement for the estate of the Kincaid family. • Maintain relationships with third party tax preparers, bankers, lawyers, and estate planners for the Kincaid family to complete estate planning and tax requirements. • Played in integral part in creating complex organizational structures for various entities and trusts for financial reporting. • Liaison between owners and executive managers of the Kincaid companies. Quickly became a reliable and trustworthy source to make business decisions when the owners weren’t available. • Completed numerous financial analysis ad-hoc reports based on the needs of the owners to provide reliable information to manage their businesses.
