In November 2024, my role was eliminated from the company. In my previous role, I fostered connection and enhanced employee experience to promote a Foolish (capital F only!), collaborative, and supportive environment. I organized in-person team gatherings, blending both on-site visits in Denver and offsites for employees visiting the Alexandria, VA office. Between April and August 2024, I had successfully planned and executed 10 team gatherings, with two teams having over 30 employees. My role extended beyond logistical coordination, encompassing hands-on support in addressing travel-related questions.In 2023, I created and launched the Jesters program. An internal program that provided remote employees the opportunity to organize small-scale, in-person activities in their city to improve employee connection. I made an informed decision on the monthly budgets and empowered Jesters, the lead organizers of each location, to choose activities that reflected their group’s interests. Prior to in-person team gatherings, I provided personalized assistance to several teams each quarter to plan and execute their team-building strategy. Managing team-building budgets, I ensured affordable spending without compromising on the quality of experiences. After said events, I tracked participation using our data tracking software, Airtable, leveraging insights to improve performance.For over a year, I was the lead events organizer, scheduling company-wide events, delegating responsibilities to my team, and ensuring inclusive and fun events. I also try took part in distributing employee birthday, moving, new baby, wedding, and spontaneous just-because gifts; handling onboarding and offboarding responsibilities for both new hires and current staff; crafting thoughtful communications for company-wide Slack posts on upcoming events and topics relevant to employee experience; And above all, I prioritized being a supportive, empathetic ear to all employees.

At Bell, I was an experienced leasing consultant with a proven track record of success in the property management industry. During my time with Bell, I leased apartments to numerous clients and assisted them in finding homes that fit their budget and preferences. I provided exceptional customer service to current residents, addressing their concerns and issues with empathy and diligence. I managed resident communications and events, ensuring timely updates and reminders about the happenings at the community. Additionally, I handled move-out procedures, evaluating damages, and refunding security deposits. I also assisted in the final walk-throughs of units during renovations to ensure they were move-in ready.

During my non-working hours, I provided pet care services, managing my own schedule and fostering strong relationships with my clients. I negotiated competitive rates based on the number of pets and the responsibilities requested. I provided excellent service and for clients' pets, treating them as well I treat my own pets.

At BC Interiors, I was responsible for ensuring the accuracy of purchase order acknowledgments in terms of pricing, product count, and shipping and delivery dates to meet project timelines. I demonstrated keen attention to detail and multitasking abilities, answering phone calls, greeting customers, and conducting year-end inventory. My strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks contributed to my success.

At Total Quality Logistics, I provided assistance to a colleague in managing several accounts. With a high volume of 500 phone calls per week, I matched carriers with shipments and negotiated prices for deliveries. I ensured that all shipments were delivered within the agreed-upon timeframe by proactively following up with drivers to resolve any issues. My strong communication and negotiation skills, coupled with my attention to detail, resulted in successful client relationships and timely delivery of shipments.
