Civil Engineer
CurrentEngineer for the Public Works and Transportation group, specializing in roadway and stormwater design. Projects include roadway and building site improvements for Joint Base Lewis McChord, SR-520 stormwater design, and roadway projects for Port of Tacoma, Port Townsend, and City of Bainbridge Island. Erin's design experience has primarily revolved around drainage systems for roadway projects and commercial sites, including creating pipe networks in Civil3D, performing stormwater analysis, and sizing treatment facilities. She has written various technical documents including stormwater memos, planning documents, and drainage reports. Erin has experience developing construction documents through all the design phases from schematic design through construction administration. She has assisted with the design of storm drainage line, water line, and sanitary sewer line plan and profiles, as well as coordinated permits and dry utility layouts. She has also had the opportunity for various site observations to investigate existing site conditions and to monitor construction in the field. Erin has a strong background in writing and using her Spanish language skills throughout her travels.
