In addition to building and maintaining the systems that SpaceX vehicle software engineers use to write, maintain, test, and deploy vehicle software to Falcon, Dragon, Starlink, and Starship as an individual contributor, I became responsible for the product development and lifecycle of our flagship product, a large distributed CI/CD service that runs 65,000 build/test/deploy jobs everyday. This includes working with users and stakeholders to identify long roadmap arcs and prioritize small improvements and fixes and manage the implementation and release of those changes, managing expectations, and honestly and thoroughly communicating decisions and plans.

Started out working on internal tools for engineering process. I quickly moved on to working on Asterisk itself, including the Asterist test suite. Then I wrote both the Digium Gateway Series front-end configuration application and the back-end Asterisk configuration utility on an embedded platform. My next Digium project was Respoke, a WebRTC PaaS that enabled application developers to add encrypted peer-to-peer voice and video calls, text messaging, and file transfer to mobile and web apps.
