Led Jumpstart’s School Readiness for All Initiative, a first-of-its-kind effort aimed at providing a Jumpstart mentor to all at-risk four year-old preschoolers in Roxbury. Facilitated 400% growth in children served in Roxbury over three years while maintaining high-quality results.Led the implementation, assessment, and growth of two programmatic pilot initiatives – Community Corps and One-to-One Twice (altered program model in which a Corps member serves two children individually as opposed to just one).Grew public revenue by 170% and private revenue by 120%, the latter via annual gifts ranging from $10,000 - $250,000 from corporations and foundations including many new and renewed multi year commitments (including MFS, Bank of America, The Boston Foundation, The Barr Foundation)Oversaw the hiring, performance management, and professional development of 18 full-time staff members, including four direct reports. Consistently ranked as one of Jumpstart’s strongest managers via annual Upward Appraisals submitted by direct reports.

Added 15-20 new direct service sites (higher ed partners) per year for two years. Operationalized and streamlined growth and start-up systems such that new site development could be transferred to regional offices to enable regional control over growth plans. Wrote grants and managed relationships to raise $6m in National Service funding (via state and national AmeriCorps and national Learn & Serve grants).

Launched Jumpstart-Tufts partnership, one of the first in the Boston area.Recruited and managed 80 Jumpstart Tufts college student Corps members.Secured high scores in overall program quality and impact (average of 4.5/5 on internal quality assessment tools).Selected to participate in organization’s National Training of Trainers Program.Worked with faculty members to create service-learning connections between the Jumpstart volunteer experience and academic classes, thereby improving student learning and satisfaction and child impact.
