My time in this role has taught me how large corporate events function from planning to execution. My job functions have been variable, from working all day on the floor, to spending all day in the office planning and preparing for upcoming programs.

As an event technology intern I am learning about the intricacies of the production side of the event and meeting industry. I am getting to work with a team to set up lighting equipment, calibrate audio equipment, and prepare video equipment for use. During the course of this internship I am getting to see a variety of different events from small classroom breakouts to large conventions.
