• Lead the development and alignment of overall global event strategy and plans requiring buy-in from senior and executive management• Responsible for generating marketing qualified leads (MQL) to directly support sales pipeline revenue, which delivers ROI • Align Event Program goals with Corporate, Business Unit and Product Line goals.• Measure results & KPI’s against plan and report on monthly & quarterly• Measure and execute all areas of event management: planning, sourcing, negotiating, ordering, relationships, timelines, show services (electrical, AV, floral, catering/banquet, communications plan, social, lead generation, hotel/registration logistics, team planning meetings, pre/post show campaigns, measuring results and report on postmortems.• Manage onsite set up with contractors & install teams. Manage issues that arise promptly. • Drive creative direction and messaging relating to building brand to ensure consistencies for event graphics, digital marketing, public relations, social media and other joint promotional initiatives• Effortlessly build solid relationships with vendors and customers; advantageous to the company when it impacts deadlines and budget requests• Manage a budget to plan• Consistently delivered programs under budget • Exceptional negotiation skills• Mentor, educate and set expectations with corporate marketing & sales on the events program the importance of how we showcase and represent the company • Proven year to year improvements and addition of new elements to enable synergies across the events program (tracking and reporting, templates & tools, communications plan, cost effective finishing touches & processes)• Improvements have been recognized across the company and the events team is well known for delivering 1st class events
