Working with stakeholders cross-organizationally, I analyzed the traffic of 72 pages to challenge assumptions and support a decision-making process regarding which content should be deprecated v. migrated. I then devised a content migration plan to reduce our overall online footprint after determining that the bulk of traffic came from only a handful of pages. When we launched the new WDSI portal, we reduced our site page footprint by a whopping 94% and our overall online presence by 64% as we moved some evergreen content to supporting platforms. The business impact of this activity was improved content discoverability as well as a huge reduction in operational and localization costs as we moved to a self-service publishing model. -

The site serves as a hub for OEMs and developers to download hardware kits for Windows 10; develop Universal drivers; test and deploy Windows 10; etc. Key accomplishments:• Managed the website through three Windows releases (1703, 1709 and 1803), delivering the latest hardware development kits to partners and developers• Launched four WinHEC (Windows Hardware Engineering Community) events and online video series to help partners and developers keep updated with Windows releases• Reduced the website footprint by 84% (from 25 to 4 pages) by consolidating pages, deprecating obsolete content, and moving evergreen content to an open publishing docs repo where stakeholders could edit their content. The business impact of this work is increased content discoverability and a reduction in site maintenance costs.• Redesigned the website to Microsoft Web Framework (MWF) design in May 2018, a critical step in the site's migration to a new CMS. -
