Managed effective content experiences for the Windows Security engineering program across all channels/platforms, including the Windows Defender Security Intelligence (WDSI) portal (https://www.microsoft.com/wdsi) for enterprise customers and IT professionals; and the Windows Security Support hub (https://support.microsoft.com/security) for consumers and IT professionals.Key accomplishments:Planned and executed the migration of the WDSI website to a new CMS. Working with stakeholders cross-organizationally, I analyzed the traffic of 72 pages to challenge assumptions and support a decision-making process regarding which content should be deprecated v. migrated. I then devised a content migration plan to reduce our overall online footprint after determining that the bulk of traffic came from only a handful of pages. When we launched the new WDSI portal, we reduced our site page footprint by a whopping 94% and our overall online presence by 64% as we moved some evergreen content to supporting platforms. The business impact of this activity was improved content discoverability as well as a huge reduction in operational and localization costs as we moved to a self-service publishing model.
