I handle all of the accounts receivable, accounts payable and office managerial duties

 Outlined and developed a weekly bulletin called The Weekly Focus which included current promotions, bestseller lists, announcements, etc. that was mailed to approximately 2,500 merchandisers each week Created Standard Operating Procedure manuals for the Market Managers and Sales Managers to give them a better understanding of the various policies initiated through the corporate office, as well as visual aids to coincide with all of the written SOPs Worked to initiate new and innovative ways to communicate time-sensitive promotions, changes in business, and important industry information to all associates  Helped gather information for our Account Executives to retain existing customers, entice new customers and drive sales; such as sales reports and other competitive marketing advantages  Demonstrated a solid understanding of company processes by acting as the communication liaison for our Account Executives and District Sales Managers

 Worked directly with the Walmart Category Buyer to manage the allotments and distributions in each of the 2,200 stores that Anderson News serviced with magazines Traveled to Bentonville, AR on a regular basis to meet with the Walmart Buyer, as well as National Distributors and Publishers Supervised 3 associates that were on my Walmart Category team Attended inner-departmental meetings weekly to discuss sales and what we could do, in regards to assortment and distribution, to help increase sales Used intranet and MP1 400 systems to implement and update the distribution changes

 Developed the outline of a web-based work-flow process system to handle setting up our New, Remodel, and Relocation accounts from beginning to end In addition to the system listed above, outlined the development of a Call Tracker system, as well as a Work Order system Held training sessions for District Sales Managers and other departments at the corporate office on how to use various systems developed for innovative communication  Organized and coordinated bi-weekly conference calls for our Regional VP marketing staff and the Regional VP field services staff to discuss various entities of sales and daily operations Used a corporate phone system to leave voicemails with daily marketing updates each afternoon for our 70+ Account Executives and District Sales Managers Developed and maintained a Promotional Event database, as well as a Daily Marketing Update database that auto-sent emails to 100+ associates, including upcoming promotions and standard information
