With over 18 years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in specialty medicine, I have a deep passion for my work. My career journey has spanned multiple roles, from neurology and cardiology technician to administrative leadership. Currently, as a Veterinary Relations Administrator at CARE, I specialize in cultivating strong, lasting relationships with our referring veterinarians and their teams across Charlotte and the surrounding areas.I manage outreach efforts by visiting hospitals, introducing new doctors, distributing CARE materials, and ensuring that our partners' needs are met. Additionally, I organize a variety of events, including dinner parties, and all of CARE's CE events.Together with the co-founders of CARE, I helped establish a year-long, paid internship program designed to mentor and develop newly graduated veterinary technicians. I actively engage with colleges, delivering talks to inspire the next generation of technicians. Each year, I oversee the application process and select 10 interns to join this dynamic learning experience.
