I’ve worked for minimum wage at McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Marshalls, Sweet Tomatoes (a salad buffet), and multiple convenience stores. You won’t see those on my resume, yet they’re just as much a part of who I am as the twenty years I’ve spent leading nonprofit organizations. I want you to know...Those jobs taught me about hard work, they taught me how to leave my assumptions about people behind, they taught me how to find joy in unlikely places and how to respect all members of the team. I bring these lessons with me into each new challenge and adventure I take on. My passion is building resilient communities.
