My focus on driving progress and refining details has resulted in significant achievements, including securing $80 million in funding through a cohesive product vision and reducing customer complaints by redesigning key user experience flows.

In my role as a UX Consultant at Anthem, I had the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement a cutting-edge PBM platform. By creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, I was able to improve the user experience and efficiency of the existing system. As Head of Product at Akouba - I run Product, UX Design and oversee implementation of our two-sided Loan Origination Platform. My focus is on creating a modern experience for bankers that includes workflow improvements and removes silos in order to shorten the origination process. My other focus is on creating a great customer experience through the journey of applying for a loan. I have been with Akouba since the platform was launched and have not only built and designed the entire platform, but have also built a community of SME experts that guide decisions I am making about what Akouba needs to be. I have also constructed the internal processes in how product and engineering communicate. • Drive end-to-end product strategy, lead team execution, and deliver quality features through a fast-paced agile process. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to find product initiatives that increase product effectiveness to drive sales and customer retention.• Organize discussions with engineering team to unearth technical threats to our product's stability, near and long term product goals, and then update roadmap accordingly. • I am the Voice of the customer(VOC) through subject matter expertise in the areas of information architecture, interaction design, visual design, user research, and online user behavior.• Present our team's quarterly product achievements to energize prod/dev team, inform company and investors.

As Director of UX, I’m the product team’s Jack of all trades. If it is something you're seeing or using on our platform there's a good chance I've touched it, poured my heart into it or had to prioritize it. I own the roles of user experience designer, product designer, and front-end/UI developer. I also co-own the product management role and contribute by working with our COO & CTO to prioritize our roadmap, run change management processes, development schedules and organize product meetings. My design contributions include the creation of the look and feel of our platform and visual identity, running design sprints, lean processes, creating wireframes/prototypes for features, and running usability testing. My development contributions include full ownership of the UI in our WCAG 2.0 Compliant, multi-tenant white labeled, enterprise SAAS level ruby on rails platform. I work closely with our extraordinary developers to ensure we are maintaining the highest levels of security and value for our customers.

As the Sr. UX Designer, my focus was to build the user experience for mLevel games, admin, and platform. I owned the UX of our admin, that delivers all the functionality needed to create custom games on the fly. I worked closely with the Director of UX and our Director of Product to gather customer feedback to drive decisions by holding user testing sessions.
