Developed efficient processes for anaerobic culture of multiple tolerogenic bacteria and purification of their extracellular vesicles (EVs) using tangential flow filtration. Advanced mechanistic understanding of interactions of vesicles with host immune cells and testing EVs as a therapeutic modality to prevent visceral adipose tissue inflammation and diet-induced obesity in mice.Supervised two master's students from project inception to successful master's thesis defense.

Designed multidisciplinary clinical protocol for first ever trial of psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy for a disorder of gut-brain interaction. Raised and managed funds from industry partner, grants, and multiple in-kind contributions from across the MGH enterprise. Recruited and oversaw training of ten psychotherapists.
