Family Dinner is a local farmer's market delivery service. Each week we source the highest quality local meat, fish, produce and grains from local farmers and producers and deliver directly to our customers. Our mission is to use data and predictive analytics to shorten and strengthen the local food supply chain (nerds), eliminate waste in the system and give small family farms the chance to compete at a larger scale. We are a 100% woman owned local business trying to use tech to disrupt the local food supply chain and make it more sustainable, more equitable, healthier and more delicious.

Research Affiliate with the MIT Senseable City LabThe Senseable City Laboratory's research focuses on studying and predicting how digital technology is changing the way we describe, design, and occupy cities.Interconnected computational elements are increasingly saturating the built environment (whether small-scale mobile devices, or larger-scale infrastructural microprocessors). This new condition allows us to design technology that could function as an interface between people and the city.Projects carried out at the lab are intended to help us learn how the cities are used and thus make better use of their resources and improve their design.The Lab's researchers come from various disciplines such as physics, architecture, urban planning, the arts, electrical engineering, and computer science. This allows performing technological development with an emphasis on behavior as well as functionality and form, and evaluating design in terms of both emotion and use.

Erin is responsible for strategic and operational leadership at the MIT Senseable City Lab (SCL), a multi-disciplinary research group of 40 people. Her primary responsibilities revolve around developing and maintaining partnerships between SCL and the cities, companies and foundations that support the group's research agenda. This work involves presentations of SCL's technical research portfolio to potential partners, both foreign and domestic, as well as contract negotiation and member stewardship. The Senseable City Lab investigates how digital technologies are changing the way people live and their implications at the urban scale. The Lab's draws on diverse fields such as urban planning, design and engineering to analyze cities through the lenses of Big Data and IoT applications.Among the Lab's partners are a group of corporations including; Uber, Audi and Philips, as well as cities such as; Amsterdam, Singapore, Dubai and Dallas.
