Responsibilities included supplier sourcing, confirming design feasibility, and coordination with interfacing liftgate components as well as managing relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers.− Led sourcing of liftgate system parts to ensure parts were sourced below program targets. Scrubbed power liftgate quotes from multiple suppliers to reduce part piece cost by over $50 per liftgate.

Worked with suppliers, manufacturing, and safety teams to develop designs to meet all functional and process requirements while managing cost and timing.− Coordinated feasibility reviews of the front and sliding doors, involving door structure and latch engineers, stamping teams, and the studio. Led team of designers to implement CAD changes and ensure program milestones were achieved on time.− Managed FMEA documentation for the front door system, facilitating communication between external suppliers and internal quality teams to prevent future failure modes.20MY Liftgate Design & Release Engineer− Led the on-site launch of the all-new Lincoln Corsair liftgate at the Louisville Assembly Plant in Kentucky.− Championed closure of design issues during product launch including root cause analysis, implementing interim corrective actions within 48 hours, and identifying permanent corrective actions to support the next product launch gateway.− Managed change control for over 20 parts from design verification through successful product launch. This research is currently being used to develop new Ohio State policies.− Used Microsoft Office to create professional and publishable documents. Created dashboards used by senior management to track projects in the office.

− Benchmarked three top suppliers and used findings to identify error/mistake proofing best practices for missing components on stampings and large welded assemblies. − Coordinated and conducted three product demonstration runs for new program launches to ensure suppliers could meet production demand and quality requirements.
