I am a very dedicated and passionate individual. I aim to create challenging personal goals, then work hard to surpass those goals. I am devoted to learning, and I believe the process of learning never ceases, leading you to continually better yourself personally and professionally. I strive to be the best individual for myself, friends and family, as well as for my students and work family. As a teacher, I commit myself to the students. I have been told by my students that I am a “hard teacher, but fair to everyone” - I challenge my students to meet rigorous expectations in preparation for future educational experiences throughout life. Students strive to meet a teachers expectations - if we set them low, they will achieve low; if we set them high (but attainable), students will excel at higher levels; if we set them too high and unattainable, students will struggle to stay afloat - finding this balance is essential for student success. I always keep an open mind, and am willing to do and try anything to help the students succeed and learn. I love watching and helping students realize and reach their potentials, as well as discover themselves and how to pursue their futures.I am a problem solver - I identify needs or areas of concern, investigate probable cause of those needs, research multiple methods and techniques to effectively and efficiently address those needs and concerns, and implement various strategies to alleviate the problem.
