In Stride/K12 education, software, interactive systems, and education collide. As an instructor at Stride/K12, my role involves the perfectly balanced implementation of relationship development, delivery of complex topics into digestible chunks for learners, and strong customer management skills. Creating an environment where young learners feel empowered and capable with their learning is essential to ensuring their educational stakeholders/adults find value in the most basic values they have sought out through choosing our services. When those basic desires for a strong education in their own homes are paired with effective, consistent and productive communication, we retain them as students for years to come. Using our Salesforce powered CRM system, I am able to access all learner information, observe/track/collect communication with learners and educational stakeholders, and track learner progress through various programs. Using the Brightspace Learning Management System, I implement more than 20 targeted and differentiated live and asynchronous virtual learning activities into weekly instruction, including self-created and internet-based activities in response to learner needs. Within this platform is also an onboarding orientation course where I can customize and personalize instructional videos to demonstrate software platform functions for individual learners as needed
