I am passionate about utilizing my skill-set to promote the Academy for Communication and the Arts (here in Fairfax County Public Schools) where I am in my eighth school year in this position.Each day, I somehow get to demonstrate my affections for large and small event planning, public relations, marketing, classroom guidance, social media, creation of promotional material, leadership, website content management, career and education coaching and planning, and just fostering quality relationships and making meaningful in general. In addition, recruiting prospective students and industry professionals for our growing programs and events is a constant priority within my very eclectic position, and I take great pride in all aspects of my position such as this. My experience as a Career Experience Specialist, Human Resource Specialist, and English and Language Arts teacher, blended with my bachelor’s degree in Communications/Public Relations and work as a Global Career Development Facilitator make me an experienced and ideal employee. I thrive at building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships that align with the mission and goals of a business.
