VEX is a regular music event held in at a nightclub in Rugby with big plans to expand. Events include a UK Garage and Bassline night with a variety of DJ's, sound system and professional lighting and visual projections. We have an upcoming night with headliner Nicky Blackmarket, well-known across the UK as a pioneer of Drum and Bass. I am responsible for writing the press releases for each event alongside organising the street promotions team.

As a Bar Crawl Promoter my responsibilities included:• Day time promotion of all events including bar crawls, foam parties and pool parties• Selling tickets for said events, which involves networking with tourists on the street or in the hotels• Night time duties included continued promotion of events but also leading up to 400 (drunk) customers through the resort to various bars or nightclubs.• Dealing with an array of queries and ensuring customers stay safe and enjoy themselves.
