Erin K. Mountain has enjoyed working in the production hospitality and tourism marketing industries for more than 20 years.She began her career as a video director for live concert production in 1993, later moving into broadcast television, radio and newspaper roles before discovering her love of the hospitality and tourism fields.After moving to Nashville, Tenn., Erin joined the event technology team at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center where she filled various technical and operational roles. In 2009, she began working in sales management. Her primary duty was developing the growing Executive Meetings and SMERF markets. This provided invaluable experience in dealing with short-term, complex meetings and events in one of the largest resort and convention centers in the country. She also was a proud member of the team that helped reopen the luxury resort after the 2010 Nashville flood.Erin relocated to Tampa, Fla., in the summer of 2011 when she became Director of Event Technology at the Loews Don CeSar Hotel. This 87-year-old beach destination hosts hundreds of weddings per year and is an ideal corporate and association market specializing in incentive meetings in an upscale environment.In the summer of 2014, Erin took over the Audio Visual operations of the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront in downtown St. Petersburg, Fla. on Tampa Bay. With its location in the Waterfront Business District of downtown St. Pete, this hotel is within minutes of restaurants, museums, and Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays.Erin became the Event Technologies Manager at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in the summer of 2015. Set along a nature preserve on the Bay’s upper shores, this AAA Four Diamond hotel boasts one of Florida’s most picturesque locales to book a memorable meeting.Erin most recently managed an indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant in historic Ybor City in Tampa, Fla. that seats more than 500 that specializes in tequila and Tex-Mex food.
