This includes everything from event planning to public relations; office management to hiring and training of staff; and facilities management to social media and website development. SPSC has over 3000 participants on a weekly basis who play in our various sport leagues. Ensure that 25-30 different leagues per week to run smoothly at the different facilities rented. Communicate SPSC schedules to facilities, and keep updated on facility schedule changes. Ensure that the staff for each league are booked and running on time. Communicate any changes to leagues, whether last minute or planned in advance, to all players and staff by email, website, social media or phone. Problems solve any issues that may arise at a league between customers or customers and staff. Maintain a communication with all of the player if there is a change to game rules, a change to the schedule or a change in the league standings. SPSC runs various social events throughout the year from catered bus trips to Tigers games to large scale parties at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. Our largest party of the year, Boo Bash, is a Halloween costume party with costume contest with 1000-1500 people in attendance each year. Emcee the event, work with the band to stay on the night’s time line, direct the photographer and videographer as to the best locations for shots and help the facility’s staff with all presale tickets. Although the largest event, many of these responsibilities are the same for all events.Daily maintenance of Social Media channels; Facebook and Twitter, to keep current, past and future participants abreast of all upcoming leagues and events. Trained on how to update and maintain SPSC website by working with digital marketing firm. Skilled in all aspects of designing a CMS Wordpress website from the start to finish.
